The Consul General of Lebanon in New York Majdi Ramadan and Mrs. Vanessa Raphael Ramadan have the pleasure of inviting you to a reception for arcenciel USA and a book signing of “Journey to Love” written by the late Christina Houri. Proceeds from the book will benefit arcenciel.
arcenciel USA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-political organization, that provides a bridge for US-based individuals and institutions to connect with and support Lebanon’s most underprivileged and marginalized communities, regardless of religion, political affiliation or nationality. arcenciel USA creates awareness of arcenciel's programs, fundraising for its various initiatives, and managing exchange programs for US-based high school students and young professionals interested in supporting arcenciel.
Journey to Love is a chronicle of Christina Houri’s introspective journey. The book reveals her experiences in love, heartbreak, confusion and clarity. Christina left this world in 2014 at the age of 45 after a struggle with cancer, and the book was finished by her mother Elsi Hakim.
Join us to learn more about arcenciel USA and its board members, and to know more about Christina’s Journey.
The reception will take place on Monday August 28, 2017, from 6 pm to 8 pm, at the residence of the Consul General at 9 E 76th street, New York, NY 10021.
